常総教会のシヌログ祭　　 Sr.Rose 　　 2013/2/13(水) 常総教会では、毎年1月27日に、「サント・ニーニョ」（プラグの聖なる御子）を祝うシヌログ祭を行なっています。この祭りの中心は、ミサとミサに続く色々なグループのダンスによるサント・ニーニョのパレードです。 シヌログ祭 ” はフィリピンのセブ島で毎年1月に祝われる祭りです。セブ島は、500年以上前に、マゼランに率いられた兵士やアウグスチノ会の宣教者たちからキリスト教をフィリピンで最初に受け入れた島です。スペイン人から部族の首長フマボン王とフアナ女王に聖なる御子イエスの御像が贈られ、その後、その部族の人々皆が洗礼を受けました。 1月27日には、茨城県各地から、シヌログ・ダンスを踊るために、色とりどりなドレスをまとった沢山のグループが常総教会にやって来ました。そして午後には、手作りのフィリピン料理、飲み物やおやつ、聖品の販売、 子どものゲームやラッフルの抽選なども、楽しく行なわれました。このイベントを行なうために奉仕してくださった方々、遠くから参加してくださった方々、また寛大にこのイベントのために協力してくださった常総教会の方々に心から感謝しております。 聖なる御子が、私たちを祝福し、私たちがいつも御子とその教えに忠実でありますように！サント・ニーニョ万歳！ トニー神父様の祝福

2012年10月28日　第3回マリアン・フェスティバル　　 N.C. 　　 2012/12/7(金) THE 3rd MARIAN FESTIVAL Last October 28, 2012 the 3rd Marian Festival was held at Karasugamori Koen in Nasushiobara, Tochigi ken. It was a rainy day but it did not deter many Filipinos from the four prefectures of the Diocese to come to show their love and devotion for the Blessed Virgin Mary who for them is “Mama Mary” (okaasan). The festival also was an opportunity to promote better intercultural exchange and mutual understanding among Filipinos, their Japanese families and other foreigners. Likewise, to raise funds for the formation of seminarians of the Diocese and continue sustaining the “Empowerment Program” of the Diocese for Filipino migrant returnees and their families. The event started in the morning with a Living Rosary followed by Holy Eucharist with Bishop Tani Daiji as main celebrant and with two Filipino priests, Fr. Jack Serat, OFM and Fr. Ross de la Cruz, SS.CC as co-celebrants. A Cultural Presentation and Raffle Draw followed in the afternoon. Food booths selling traditional Filipino food were aplenty. Noteable in this year’s festival was the great joy of the Filipinos in the recent canonization of the second Filipino saint Pedro Calungsod, by His Holiness Benedict XVI. A big picture of the saint was prominently displayed on the stage together with a huge backdrop of the face of Mama Mary and her statue in native Philippine dress. Another noteable feature was the active participation of many Filipino-Japanese children eg. in the Living Rosary, interpretative dance and singing during the mass and in the collection of offerings for the mass, an effort specially made by their mothers to little by little pass on the faith to the “next generation” by giving them concrete responsibilities in the festival. Last but not the least, the significant presence and support concretized in many ways by the Japanese parishioners of Ottawara Church and the selfless dedication of the many leaders specially from Tochigi considering it was a big event and a rainy day at that!

EL SENOR DE LOS MILAGROS EN TOKOROZAWA　奇跡の主　　 Amparo 　　 2012/10/26(金) La Comunidad de Tokorozawa fue designada para este ano 2012 como representante de los latinos de la Diocesis de Saitama para la celebracion del Senor de los Milagros. Durante muchos meses estuvieron preparando todos los detalles de la celebracion, involucrando tambien a la Comunidad japonesa de la parroquia. El dia 21 de Octubre fue el dia elegido y amanecio con un sol esplendido. Desde muy temprano estuvieron ultimando los preparativos. Las andas del Senor de los Milagros junto al altar y junto a ellas los Cofrades de las Hermandades de Isesaki, Ota y Tokorozawa revestidos con sus trajes morados. La misa fue presidida por el Sr. Obispo y concelebrada por otros tres sacerdotes. Acompanaron las otras comunidades de la parroquia y participaron en la lectura y peticiones. En el ofertorio nos acompano la quena en el canto de ”El condor pasa”. Al terminar la misa salio la procesion hacia el parque que queda enfrente de la iglesia y que previamente se habia adornado con globos de color morado. Hubo un encuentro con San Francisco, titular de la parroquia y San Judas Tadeo, muy venerado por los peruanos. Salio la procesion coreada por todos con el himno del Senor de los Milagros y fue deteniendose en cada uno de los cuatro altares preparados donde se rezo una oracion por los distintos grupos pidiendo por las necesidades de todos. En la ultima estacion se bailo La Marinera . Fue un dia apasionante, principalmente para los peruanos que viven una fe profunda en el Senor de los Milagros. Una vez terminada la procesión, volvio a la iglesia el retablo del Senor de los Milagros y los asistentes pudieron degustar las ricas comidas preparadas. La fiesta termino con un concurso de cantos en diversas lenguas que fueron premiados, asi como la rifa con los boletos comprados y la entrega al Senor Obispo de lo recaudado en el evento, como ayuda para Momi no ki. Un dia para ser recordado con agradecimiento por todos los participantes, pero hasta el ano siguiente, el Senor de los Milagros seguira visitando y acompanando a las familias que lo soliciten.

2012年9月16日　川口ベトナム中秋祭　　 S.M. 　　 2012/9/27(木) 9月16日日曜日、川口教会ではベトナムの中秋祭りを行いました。 このお祝いは子供のお正月と言われていて、彼らは遊んだり、提灯を創ったりします。 川口教会でのこの祭りは今年で4回目です。 子供たちは朝から教会に来て、御ミサの奉献を準備しました。子供たちは祭壇にお花、スイカ、月餅、そして自分で作った提灯を捧げました。 ごミサのあと3歳の女の子がベトナム語の歌を色々歌いました。 恒例のベトナム料理の店も開店し、大勢の人が喜んで召し上がってくださいました。 ビンゴゲーム、スイカ割りなどをして、子供たちだけでなくて大人も一緒に夢中で遊んで、笑い声が絶えず、本当に楽しいことでした。 晩御飯はカレ−ライスと焼きそばを出しました。お食事のあと聖堂で龍の踊りをし、ベトナム教室の子供たちがベトナム語で挨拶文を読んだり、歌ったり、踊ったりしました。そして、2人の子供がピアノを、３人の男子が空手の型をみせてくれました。最後のプログラムはお待ちかねの提灯コンテストです。8人が自分で作った提灯を出しました。色々な形があり、かわいらしい提灯がたくさんあって、審査員は選ぶのに苦労していましたが、結果は皆が何かの賞をもらいました。 最後に、中秋祭の夜の教会の庭で子供たちは手に手に提灯を持ち、行列をして歩きました。帰りにプレゼントをもらって、よい一日を過ごせたことを親子ともに大変喜んでいました。 スイカ割 獅子舞 全体の様子 色鮮やかな提灯

2012年8月19日　群馬県宗教者平和行進　　 S.F. 　　 2012/9/6(木) 諸宗教者・信者がバナーを持つ 前橋教会前での記念撮影 MARCH FOR PEACE 　Last August 19, a Sunday, an Ecumenical March for Peace was held in Maebashi City for the 3rd consecutive year. It was participated by different religions -- Buddhists, Shintoists, the New Way, Anglicans, Protestants and Catholic priests, sisters and lay persons. On the part of the Catholics it was one way to respond in concrete to the call of the Diocese to “pray and work for peace,” one of the 8 Priorities outlined for the next 10 years. Braving the intense summer afternoon heat, the participants carried placards, sang songs, beat drums, uttered chants in their efforts to raise greater public consciousness not just of the need for world peace but in the very Japanese society where they live. Some issues highlighted were: 1.　abolish war and value human life 2.　save children from hunger 3.　build a society without nuclear plants 4.　abolish all kinds of nuclear weapons 5.　not to ignore reports of bullying in schools 6.　stop all forms of racism, and discrimination in the work place As the group walked along the main roads of Maebashi the participants did show that though they may be different in religious beliefs one common ground is the desire for peace.
